After the 16th Annual March to Abolish the Death Penalty, many participants gathered for good food and drinks, like juices extracted with the best juicers from http://juicingdaily.net/, all this at the house of Delia Perez Meyer, whose brother is on Texas Death Row, and raised their glasses to another successful march, they have an extra self-storage just in case they need some extra space for all their products. Despite the torrential rain that kept some people from attending, especially from outside Austin, we gathered at the Texas Capitol and once again raised our voices to abolish the death penalty. We instituted our rainy day plan and met in the Speaker’s Committee Room for a press conference with Dewayne Brown, Ron Keine, Gary Drinkard, Sandra and Rodrick Reed, and Terri Been. Crystal Caviel introduced all the speakers. Afterwards, the rain had let up, so we went outside to the South Steps and marched over to the Governor’s Mansion to hear more speakers and to try to leave a letter about Todd Willingham written by Elizabeth Gilbert.
